What is Yoga:

Around the world, more and more people are turning to yoga as a means of keeping fit and reducing stress. With a history of more than 5000 years, originating from India, Yoga, once the domain of a selected few, is now universally practised.

The therapeutic effects on both the mind and body enables the practioners to enjoy a profound sense of wellbeing. Yoga is not simply an exercise in stretching, but a learning of how to achieve a calm mind, which in turn helps to channel energies throughout the body. The better the flow of this energy, the more balanced we become and this inturn increases our abiliity to cope with everyday stress and situations, as we increase our ability to step back and observe our reactions without letting our emotions run the show.
